Understanding the evidence
A request isn’t a result.
Illustrative example — not a customer result
Proposed record format. All sources, records, actions and dates below are fictional. This is not a working dashboard or evidence of PupErase performance.
- Possible matchOCT 01, 2026 · 09:00 UTC
- A listing contains details that may match the participant. Ownership is not yet confirmed; no removal request is authorized.
- Match confirmedOCT 02, 2026 · 10:00 UTC
- The fictional participant confirms the listing is theirs and authorizes a removal request for this source. Confirmation and authorization are separate from removal.
- Request submittedOCT 02, 2026 · 10:15 UTC
- A removal request is submitted. The record retains the submission reference and time. This establishes an action taken, not that the listing was removed.
- Source reports removalOCT 10, 2026 · 14:00 UTC
- The source says the listing was removed. Its response is retained separately. A source’s statement is not an independent public recheck.
- Not observed on recheckOCT 12, 2026 · 15:00 UTC
- The original listing is not visible at its public address during this check. The record identifies the source, method, time and captured observation. This verifies only what was observable in that check.
What remains unknown.
Deletion from underlying databases, other copies and future reappearance are not established. Further checks would follow the agreed scope and cadence; these example dates are not a service commitment.
If a source can’t be checked: record “Unable to verify” and why. An inaccessible page or failed check must not become “removed” or “not found.”
